Lewis, one of our S3 cellists has for the second year running been awarded Runner-up in the Beatrice Huntington Cello Award playing a programme of Bach and Faure. Lewis says “I am so delighted. The audition took place on the most wintery day of the year when we were sent home from school and I didn’t know if we’d be able to go ahead”. A huge thank you to Mr Mcleod for preparing Lewis for this. Well done Lewis.
