Following auditions S5 pupil Natalia has been given a place in both the NYOS Jazz & Senior Orchestra as well as being invited to the GYO Berlin tour as a principle flute. Well done.

Success as “virtual” Aberdeen music festival is first in UK
More than 600 people entered the Aberdeen & North East of Scotland Music Festival this month. Two ACMS pupils Carys and Rebecca were both awarded funding from the Rachel Barry Bursary to continue their musical careers. Due to the current situation regarding coronavirus COVID-19 we have decided to cancel all concerts scheduled up until the end of this term.
Scottish Chamber Orchestra Pre-Concert
Once again ACMS are delighted to have been asked to perform at the Music Hall (Tutti Suite) before the Nicola Benedetti and the Scottish Chamber Orchestra concert on Saturday. Our performances will include Massenet’s vocal duet, Strauss’s “Morgen”, Poulenc for piano 4-hands, Tchaikovsky’s”Scene of Siegfried”, Albinoni’s “Adagio” and a little bit of Chopin. A perfect […]
Primary Bursary Visit
Two of our new P6 Primary bursary pupils visited us last weekend. The girls sang with Chloe and Amelia (who are now in S1 and were previously on Primary bursaries), learned a lot and hopefully had a good time.
