We are delighted to be back performing at Aberdeen’s Cowdray Hall lunchtime concerts on Thursday 3rd March. Come and join us for some Brahms, Rossini, Paul Lewis, David Heath and Scottish traditional music.

ACMS pupil Finn is taking part in the Holocaust memorial Day Celebration on Thursday 27th January at the Cowdray Hall. He will be playing Rachmaninov’s Elegie Op.3, No.1, Beethoven’s Pathetique 2nd movement and Grieg’s Holberg Suite Sarabande for the invited audience.  

Closed weekend this weekend, Saturday 29th and Sunday30th January. Lots of rehearsals and preparations for our annual concert on Sunday 6th February. Fingers crossed everyone stays Covid free.

We can now confirm that our annual ACMS concert will go ahead in the Music Hall Aberdeen on Sunday 6th February at 5pm. Tickets will be sent our shortly. If anyone would like any more tickets please email edonati@aberdeencity.gov.uk

S4 pupil Charlotte has successfully auditioned and been awarded a place at the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain. After a lot of hard work Charlotte is looking forward to joining the orchestra. Charlotte has written about the audition experience and hopes to encourage others to audition too.
