ACMS folk band (Duncan, Stuart, Arthur & Elizabeth) were the under 19s folk group winners for the second year in a row, scoring top marks in both Gaelic and music. A fantastic result. They were then recorded by BBC Alba.

The ACMS singers and clarsach players were so lucky to have share a masterclass with renowned traditional musician and broadcaster Mary Ann Kennedy. During this she shared her experiences of her classical training (as a founder pupil of Douglas Academy, the first music state school in the UK) before moving into traditional music.
Congratulations to Daniel and Natasha, who took part in the ABRSM Piano Roadshow Masterclass at the Chester Hotel on Saturday. They learned a lot from Anthony Williams as they performed pieces from the new 2019/2020 syllabus for piano.
ACMS are delighted to provide the music for the Citizenship Ceremonies which take place at the Town House in Aberdeen every six weeks or so.
